"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Thanks for the comment. You've got great stuff here. You should check out a Japanese photographer by the name of Tokihiro Sato. Some of his work is along the lines of 'Rave Me' with moving lights and whatnot, but in black and white. You can see some of it here.
